I have been a keen photographer for a number of years now but at the start of 2006 one of my work colleagues was getting married and couldn't afford a wedding photographer. I offered to go along and take some pictures throughout the day and found that I loved it. From that point Reflections was born, since that time our reputation has spread. I don't advertise as I think that word of mouth is by far the best form of advertising.
My feelings towards wedding photography are that it is your special time, which you will hopefully only experience once. Because of this I like to spend time getting know each of my clients, finding out what works and what doesn't so that we can make the whole experience as fun and enjoyable as possible.
My approach is very friendly and informal but I do not compromise on profesionalism. I would describe my photographic style as 'journalistic', I tend to work with a long lens for the best part of the day working at a distance so that I can capture peoples natural expressions.
A key part of what I offer is a free Pre Wedding shoot, I find this an invaluable opportunity for both parties to get to know each other. My clients always say that they feel much more relaxed after the shoot as they know exacly what to expect and it gives me the ideal opportunity to find out what works best for you. |
